Classic Sleeveless Fit and Flare Wedding Dress with Plunging Neckline
I bought this as a discounted "off the rack" item from a local bridal boutique. The style of this dress is timeless with a simple and classic shape. I fell in love with the open back and train, it felt just sexy and dramatic enough. The fabric has a bit of weight to it as well as a little bit of stretch. It hangs beautifully and is comfortable to wear.
I would love for someone else to feel as beautiful as I did wearing this dress and give it a second life!
Condition: There is minor pilling on the straps, around the hips, and at the very end of the train. The pilling on the straps is the heaviest of all areas and could be 'shaved' off easily. Otherwise, the dress is in great condition, with no tears or staining. After our wedding, I had it professionally cleaned and it has been hanging in an air-tight garment bag since.
Alterations: The largest alteration I had done was adding satin-covered buttons down the entirety of the back of the dress. The buttons are non-functional and purely for decoration. I also had the tailor add a French-style bustle to the dress. The dress itself was tailored to be probably 2-3 sizes smaller than when I originally purchased it and the bottom hem of the dress was taken up although I'm not sure by how much. For reference, I'm 5' 5" and wore 4.5-inch heels with the dress.
