BHLDN Havana Corset by Catherine Deane and Bellamy Skirt by Elizabeth Fillmore

This was the perfect dress for me! It was non-conventional and stylish, and the skirt had pockets! I found this after a few trial and errors with wedding dresses including a non-successful custom tailored dress and an Alfred Angelo dress that was purchased but decided not to arrive 1 month before my wedding. When i saw this dress on me though, i felt that all the events conspired so that I would have this dress on my wedding day! (It was the newest season dress at BHLDN so i wouldn't have seen it before) I loved loved loved this dress and hope to find someone who would too!

For the skirt: Full pleats add volume to this luxurious silk dupioni skirt, and the high-low hem cascades into a subtle train—a favorite for showing off your shoes (and ankles if you like them ;))! I love the texture on the skirt- has some linen-y uneven elements to it, which made it even more unique and great for photos

For the top: A scalloped neckline, allover guipure lace, and low back make a romantic statement in this unabashedly feminine separate.

The combination is a mix of feminine grace, and unique glamour... with pockets!!

Altered in the following ways:

-Corset (started as a size 2): Cross back straps + Bra cups (gentle, I'm typically a 36A, and i became a 36B/C). No alteration to the bodice of the corset was done (which means if it fits you at BHLDN, it should fit you here!) I left extra length in the cross back straps so you can alter it as needed if you are taller etc.

-Skirt (started as a size 8): Altered the waist to 28", length: Back: 39", Front 30"; pockets intact; With 3 inch heels, the front cuts off 3 to 4 inches above my ankle, and the back is about 2 inches off the floor for easy movement!
